Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Sewead account and associated personal data at any time.

In-App Option

An account deletion option may be available directly from the Sewead app under Settings - Profile - Delete Account. If available in your app version, you may use that flow instead of email. You may also request deletion by contacting [email protected].

How to Request Deletion

Send an email from your registered address

Email [email protected] from the email linked to your Sewead account, or use the in-app deletion flow where available.

Use the correct subject line

Set the subject to “Account Deletion Request”. Include your registered email and phone number.

Identity verification

Sewead may verify your identity before processing.

Deletion processed

Your data will be deleted or anonymised within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

  • Profile: name, email, phone number, profile photo, banner
  • Saved addresses and delivery information
  • Account preferences, settings, and notification tokens
  • Public content (posts, inspirations, comments) - removed or anonymised
  • Chat and message history - anonymised
  • Seller profile and product listings (where no pending orders exist)

What May Be Retained

Some records may be retained where required by law or for dispute resolution, fraud prevention, platform security, tax, accounting, payout, or legal compliance:

  • Order, invoice, and payment records
  • Tax, accounting, and statutory compliance records
  • Payout, settlement, and bank verification records
  • Shipping, delivery, and logistics records
  • Dispute, refund, and fraud-prevention records
  • Security logs and legal compliance records

Records may be retained for up to 8 years or longer as mandated by applicable law.
